Welcome to the NEW ISORacing site.
Welcome to the new ISORacing.org.uk website for the ISO Class Association. This is the third version of the ISORacing website. The first version was launched back in 1999 with comments from the committee back then of "It needs to be professional looking, nothing amateur". Gradual tweaks and development lead to an RYA Communications award for the best class association website in 2002.
This new site is much more interactive, and quite a leap for the class. Current features of this site are as follows:-
- Browse the site for free;
- Free registration to allow message board usage (ideal for the crews whose helms are members);
- Restricted articles for paying members only (Associate and Full members);
- Online membership payments via Paypal (in addition to the paper application method using cash or cheque); NEAR FUTURE (By the end of September)
- Free membership allows you to use message board, but you are still restricted on viewing certain articles such as tweaks and boat handling;
- Associate membership allows full usage of the website but not to race your ISO on the circuit; NEAR FUTURE (By the end of September)
- Full membership allows full usage of the website and to race on the ISO circuit.
- Upload your own photos to the gallery;
- Author and edit your own reports and help guides;
- Submit weblinks to the site;
- Submit your own events to the class calendar;
- More detailed calendar for the events;
- Submit your informal event entry forms online - helps us get an idea who is attending events;
- Contact other members via the private messaging facility;
If you have any comments or experience any problems with the site, whether they be how to do something; error messages; feature requests; things you don't like, then please post on the message board in the dedicated "website FAQ's" and we'll endeavour to help you out.
We hope you enjoy the new website. The more you use it and contribute, the better it will be.
